A group of architecture students have transformed this park in Timarpur into a skill development zone


This park in Indira Basti, Timarpur had turned into a dump yard until a group of architecture students took it upon themselves to renovate it.

Indira Basti is a slum in Timarpur area of North Delhi. A group of architecture students took up the project of renovating a park in the area as part of the annual NASA design competition.

NASA (National Association of Students of Architecture) is one of the biggest student bodies for architectural students.

As part of there annual design competition, architecture students from across the country were required to create an alternate space for an abandoned public space in their respective cities.

The students of MBS School of Planning and Architecture, Dwarka picked up Indira Basti in Timarpur as their project site.
